LMG, a national provider of video, audio, lighting and LED, announces the purchase of land in Austin, TX along with plans to build their 11th US location. In early April, 4Wall Entertainment provided Rob Ross Design with a lighting rental package for Tesla’s Giga Texas Cyber Rodeo grand opening event. TourGigs Uses Blackmagic Design for AV and Streaming at Switchfoot Bro-Am Fundraiser

ENCINITAS, CA – To support the live production and live streaming needs of the 11th annual Switchfoot Bro-Am fundraiser at Moonlight Beach, Austin, TX-based TourGigs used Blackmagic products, including ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K switchers. TourGigs worked with broadcast journalism students from nearby Carlsbad High School to run the production of the event, which drew a crowd of 20,000 attendees and was streamed to 75,000 more viewers.

DESIGN: “I am operating the show that Marc Janowitz designed. The show has a simple and sexy look. Most songs are just one or two cues. I find it harder to do the simple looks — it can be difficult to make sure the lighting is stimulating and engaging enough for the audience while trying to not duplicate looks. However, during the last song of the show, ‘Blue Bucket of Gold,’ things get a little crazy.
