LOS ANGELES — The 4Wall Los Angeles team named Jeff Mateer vice president of business development. In addition to focusing on new business, Mateer will also lead both the inside and outside rental and sales staffs of 4Wall LA. Mateer brings more than 40 years of industry experience to 4Wall.
NEW YORK — 4Wall New York recently provided lighting for the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert, featuring Mariah Carey and the New York Philharmonic. The event was held on the Great Lawn in Central Park.
CULLMAN, AL – 4Wall Nashville recently provided equipment for “Rock the South,” an annual festival celebrating food, music and the Southern way of life. Headliners included Sara Evans, The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery. Now in its second year, the festival began as an anniversary celebration, with country stars taking the stage one year to the day after tornadoes had devastated portions of Alabama and the surrounding region.
LAS VEGAS- Barbara Brennan, formerly of Morpheus Lighting and PRG, is joining the 4Wall Entertainment Systems Division as a systems integrator. Brennan’s career in the entertainment industry spans more than 35 years, beginning with Cinema Services of Las Vegas, where she worked with a variety of clients including casinos, production companies and television networks.
MOONACHIE, NJ — 4Wall New York has completed its move to a new 121,000-square-foot location from the 75,000 square foot facility the company has maintained here for the last five years. The move, to 35 State Street, also in Moonachie, was completed on July 22. Along with its expanded presence in the New York metro market, 4Wall maintains locations in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville and Washington, DC.
MOONACHIE, NJ – 4Wall New York will open its doors to the public on May 30 for the company’s fifth annual 4Wall Vendor Showcase and BBQ event. The event is free and takes place from 3-7 pm. Manufacturer representatives will be on hand to answer questions. Along with hands-on demos, 4Wall’s UsedLighting.com division will present a number of show specials.
NASHVILLE- The ‘Jesus Culture One Nights’ tour recently took the stage throughout the Midwest U.S. using lighting equipment from 4Wall Nashville. The ‘Jesus Culture One Nights’ event is a combination concert and worship experience. Lighting challenges included the variety of venues: churches, arenas and theatres.
WASHINGTON, DC- 4Wall DC recently provided lighting for the entire run of Tony-winning musical ‘Hello, Dolly!’ at Ford’s Theatre. LD Colin K Bills’ design choices drove the need for equipment that could give a broad sense of colors while also providing the ability to zoom in tight, or even wash the stage. Bills chose Martin MAC Auras and Vari*Lite VL3500 fixtures from 4Wall DC along with other conventional fixtures to accomplish his task.
NASHVILLE- 4Wall Nashville recently provided lighting for ‘In This House,’ a dance performance by Found Movement Group held at OZ Nashville. The group’s LD/ production manager, Brandon Webb, also took advantage of 4Wall’s labor services by adding crew members to assist with on-site installation.
COLUMBIA, MD- 4Wall DC is opening the doors of its new Columbia, MD location for the new location’s first Open House and Vendor Showcase on April 18, 3-7 p.m. A full Vendor Showcase will be held inside the building featuring the many of the industry’s top manufacturers displaying their newest products. All are invited to attend.
LAS VEGAS – 4Wall has named Jennifer Moore vice president of national business development. Moore, who comes to 4Wall after serving as sales and marketing coordinator at Martin Professional, will be tasked by 4Wall with reinforcing its ties nationally with end-users and professional companies.
