District 5 Colorizes The Band Camino’s Screaming in the Dark Tour with CHAUVET Professional

Color has always been “a huge part of our design process,” Dayne deHaven says of the work that he and his collaborator at the District 5 design studio, Tyler Shapard, have been doing for The Band Camino. Fans of the red-hot rock-pop trio would readily agree; the band’s music is so evocative, that each song calls out for its own distinct color signature. Ironically, though, on the band’s recently concluded 25-date tour, the show begins in virtual darkness, as eerie electronic sounds resonate over a blacked-out stage. That’s only fitting, since the tour was called Screaming in the Dark, a nod to the group’s latest hit album The Dark.Read More »District 5 Colorizes The Band Camino’s Screaming in the Dark Tour with CHAUVET Professional

CHAUVET Professional Channels Intensity on Nothing More’s Spirits Tour

Seeing Nothing More live is “an experience that is hard to put into words,” one music critic wrote after going to the St. Petersburg show on the Grammy nominated band’s recently concluded Spirits Tour. That’s true, but terms like in your face, riveting, adrenaline-pumping, and emotionally transformative, do come pretty close to capturing the onslaught of sensations that rush through the heart and brain at one of this uber-talented quartet’s multi-faceted concerts.Read More »CHAUVET Professional Channels Intensity on Nothing More’s Spirits Tour

Tom Campbell Reflects Many Sides of Maisie Peters’ ‘The Good Witch’ Tour With CHAUVET

Maisie Peters’ music has been called many things. Words like “beautifully melodic,” “dreamily evocative,” “passionate,” and “flowing” have often been used… But the 23-year-old singer’s expansive sound goes way beyond these appellations to embrace elements of rock, all conveyed with a compelling dramatic flair. At least that’s the view of Tom Campbell. The Bristol-based designer is in an excellent position to know, having collaborated closely with the young star almost from the beginning of her skyrocketing career. (She’s the youngest female singer to reach the top of the UK charts in a decade.)Read More »Tom Campbell Reflects Many Sides of Maisie Peters’ ‘The Good Witch’ Tour With CHAUVET

Tyler Shapard and Dayne deHaven Go Bold at Bonnaroo for The Band CAMINO with CHAUVET Professional

The Band CAMINO has been on quite a roll of late, with an Elektra Records deal, a slew of charting hits like “The Last Man Standing,” and a European tour under their belts. This June, the rapidly rising indie/rock trio from Nashville reached another milestone when they made their first appearance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Of course, being relatively new, the band was slated as one the earlier acts in a festival headlined by the likes of the Jelly Roll, KORN, The Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar, Paramore, and ODESZA. But no worries, The Band Camino’s fierce, energetic sound stood out in the crowd, just as the lightshow supporting them did, despite the ambient light.Read More »Tyler Shapard and Dayne deHaven Go Bold at Bonnaroo for The Band CAMINO with CHAUVET Professional
