NASHVILLE – PixelFLEX won their second consecutive Parnelli Award for Indispensable Video Technology. This year’s award was presented to the Nashville-based LED video screen manufacturer during the 15th Annual Parnelli Awards Ceremony held at the Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel and Casino for their innovative FLEXCurtain HD LED Video Screen. PixelFLEX’s Jeremy Byrd accepted the honor.
BERGAMO, Italy – The 5th Edition of I Maestri del Paesaggio (the masters of landscape), which ran from Sept. 5-20, 2015, tied into some of the same agricultural, horticultural and earth-friendly themes that prevailed for this year’s Milan Expo. LENGWIL, Switzerland – The Laserworld Group joined the International Laser Display Association (ILDA) on Aug. 31, 2015, as whole group of companies. In agreement with the ILDA’s Board of Directors, all Laserworld companies may announce being an official ILDA member with effect of the new group membership.
UK – The eighth Knight of Illumination Awards (KOI) ceremony was held on Sunday 4th October at London’s glamorous art deco Troxy to sparkling success. Once more it saw representatives from the professional entertainment lighting and video industry come together to celebrate the creative achievements of lighting and video professionals working on shows across the UK.

LAS VEGAS – Panasonic will present with Shochiku, renowned global Kabuki producer, with support from MGM Resorts International, an elaborate, high-tech outdoor performance unlike anything Las Vegas or the U.S. has ever seen. The show will feature a Kabuki-style theatrical event with larger-than-life animation and water choreography in the Kabuki masterpiece Koi-Tsukami, or Fight with a Carp, as a large fish and turbulent sea are projected onto the Bellagio Hotel Fountains in a battle scene.
LONDON – On July 22-23, 2015, British electronic musician Goldie and the Heritage Orchestra performed Goldie’s 1995 album, Timeless, at the Royal Festival Hall in London. LD Richard Godin lit the event with gear provided by White Light.
