IATSE Deal Made With Metropolitan Opera for the 2021/22 Season

IATSE and the Metropolitan Opera have reached an agreement that will allow the union members to return to work ahead of reopening for the 2021/22 season. This agreement was struck early on Saturday morning, July 3, 2021. This news was reported by OperaWire.

This agreement was reached after long negotiations over the last year, much of which with the IATSE union members locked out of the Met Opera. The new season for the Met Opera is scheduled to open this September.
