A few shorts from the 38th Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The 38th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place on Friday Nov. 3 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. This year’s class of inductees were Performers Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, and The Spinners. Musical Influence inductees were DJ Kool Herc, and Link Wray; and the Musical Excellence Inductees were Chaka Khan, Al Kooper, and Bernie Taupin.

Inductees Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Chaka Khan, and Willie Nelson all performed at the event. They were joined by an array of special guests including Elton John, Peter Frampton, Dave Matthews, H.E.R., Chris Stapleton, St. Vincent, New Edition, Stevie Nicks, Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood, Ice-T, Big Boi, Miguel, Olivia Rodrigo, Queen Latifah, Sia and St. Vincent.

The Production Designer was Bruce Rodgers, Lighting Designer Allen Branton, Screens Content Designer Bianca Moncada of DARMAH. The Lighting Directors were George Gountas, Kevin Lawson, and Felix Peralta. The Screens Programmers were Ivan Pichardo, and Sergio Romero. Among the vendors were Scenic: All Access; Special Effects: Strictly FX; Rigging: Kish Rigging; Lighting: Lakeside Entertainment, Inc.; and Video: Pete’s Big TV’s.

For the first time the Induction Ceremony was live streamed on Disney+, where the full four and a half hour event is now available to stream on demand. Also, a 3-hour broadcast edit of the ceremony will air on ABC on Jan. 1, 2024.
