The presentation area included a Volvo V40 R Design display car, which allowed shoppers to sit on board and experience the car, an array of touch-screen tablets equipped with an interactive quiz, and XL Video’s 5m x 3m Barco NX6 LED wall which displayed advertising footage about the V40 and Volvo’s current ‘Swedish Adventure’ contest.
For the project, XL’s Project Manager, Jacqueline Rice, worked with Attila Keskin of Design Scene to recommend a suitable LED wall for the project — where the mixture of venues included both natural daylight and indoor mall lighting.
Across the various mall sites the screen was installed and maintained by a team of XL’s experienced crew; Steven Grinceri, Fabrizio Di Lelio, Connor Jennings, Rob Smith, John Brandon, Marcus Wareham and Tim Bolland.
Jacqueline Rice commented on the project: “It has been a pleasure to work with the projects team at DesignScene on this event. Each venue brought its own challenges, such as being under a glass roof on the hottest day of the year, but by working together solutions were found and the displays gained lots of positive attention from the public.”
