MONTREAL, Canada – Solotech provided video and audio gear in support of The Tragically Hip’s North American tour in support of their Fully Completely album.

More details from Solotech (www.solotech.com):

To highlight the reissue of their Fully Completely album, the iconic Canadian rock band, The Tragically Hip launched a North American tour this past January, and chose Solotech to supply and install the video and audio equipment.

Released in 1992, Fully Completely is a landmark album for the band who wanted to commemorate the reissue with a tour. It was therefore essential to ally with a high calibre technical company.

“Solotech is recognized for the depth of its staff and equipment and since Solotech has already worked with The Tragically Hip, they knew we could carry out their vision,” explained Lee Moro, the director of the project at Solotech.

During this tour, The Hip have performed in large venues like the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, as well smaller more intimate venues like Chicago’s House of Blues. For this reason, in regards to audio, Solotech provided compact and lighter equipment: L-Acoustics K2 and K1-SB systems. These are suited to bypass various rigging limitations, in addition to reducing logistic costs and having a flexible throw.

The Tragically Hip just added more dates to the Fully and Completely tour. For more information go to: http://www.thehip.com/shows/
