HERDECKE, Germany – publitec, an AV distributor and events technology company, is also a Christie partner and recently added 40 new Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors to its rental range. Pictured here are Klaus Hilles, Christie Regional Director, with Andreas Flemming, CEO of publitec.
More details from Christie (www.christiedigital.com):
The Christie Boxer 4K30 boasts high performance, marking it out as a premium product within the middleweight category at 30,000 lumens, 4K (4096 by 2160) native resolution and 3DLP quality, while weighing less than 150 pounds. Users receive a projector that is easy to use and offers optimum feed and performance flexibility.
The Christie Boxer has built-in Christie TruLife image processing to provide the highest bit depth, fastest frame rate and native 4K signals, with HD signal upscaling that lets the Christie Boxer fit seamlessly and simply into existing HD workflows.
Publitec already offers a wide range of Christie projectors, accessories and add-on parts, and its investment in the Christie Boxer has now made it one of the largest Christie rental partners in all of Europe.
“We are very pleased to be the first company in Germany to offer the Christie Boxer for rental, and we see huge potential,” says Andreas Flemming, Chief Executive Officer, publitec. “From the very first announcements, we received extremely positive feedback about the product. Our clients are eager to see it in person at ISE. The projector is set to appear at large live events. Our investment means that we will be ready to sell and rent the quantities needed from the moment it starts to ship.”
“There was huge demand for a compact projector with a high lumen level and high resolution. We are delighted to have found the Christie Boxer, which fully meets this need. In publitec, we have an experienced rental partner on our side – we are proud of their confidence in us,” says Klaus Hilles, Christie Regional Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The Christie Boxer 4K30 was featured at ISE Amsterdam Feb. 10-12. The Boxer series will ship in April 2015.
