NEW YORK – As part of an expansion of its equipment inventory, WorldStage has acquired several Barco E2 presentation systems, the first screen management system on the market that can manage a 4K projector blend with refresh rates up to 60Hz.
More details from WorldStage (www.worldstage.com):
“The Barco E2 represents one of the key capital expenditures for the WorldStage 4K roadmap,” says WorldStage’s Barry Grossman. “The system is brand new technology with a very exciting future ahead of it. E2 offers many features currently unavailable in other systems, including two 4K outputs per frame and a proper multi-viewer for the screen management processor.”
The Barco E2 is a versatile system whose 4K input and output provides impressive pixel processing power. With 28 inputs and 14 outputs (eight PGM, two multi-viewer and four scaled Aux outputs), the system delivers full show control in a single box.
Its linkable chassis enables expansion without the need for additional external processing and routing; it is capable of managing a blend of up to 32 4K projectors. Designed for the live event industry, the rugged E2 boasts a steel chassis able to withstand the challenges of life on the road. Its compact form factor occupies just four rack units.
