NEW YORK – It was a special morning on July 11, 2016 for the people gathered around Rockefeller Center to see Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s collaborative performance of “Love Make the World Go Round” on the Today Show Summer Concert Series. Families of over 50 victims and survivors from the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando were invited to the show for a tribute displaying love and support for lives lost in the tragedy last month.

More details from Upstage Video (www.upstagevideo.com):

Prior to the Jennifer Lopez Orlando tribute, Upstage Video’s president, Doug Murray worked with producers on various Summer Concert Series performances including Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas and Luke Bryan. These performances included the company’s V-Tower displaying IMAG and live social media feeds. However, the client opted for a different look for the tribute performance- a specific look and design by mixing camera shots from above and performance shots including the audience.

Upstage Video supplied a recently purchased a high-resolution, 5mm LED floor manufactured by Yes-Tech. The indoor/outdoor floor served as the main stage for Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manual Miranda’s performance. “We’ve had our eyes on this product for about a year and finally made the decision to purchase it in June. The panel is not only one of the highest resolution outdoor products on the market, but it is one of the most durable and versatile LED products we have ever inventoried. Not only does it make a great floor, we can make walls, arches and ceilings, a designer’s dream,” says Murray.
