MILTON KEYNES, U.K. — Chaos Visual Productions is providing new video elements for the Foo Fighters’ 2011 Wasting Light tour, working with John Cutcliffe of SAM Entertainment, Eric Pearce of SGPS and the designs of Dan Hadley on a multifaceted production managed by Joe Beebe. The collaboration includes custom pods of high-resolution 8mm WinVision along with a custom stage using 18mm video elements.

The Chaos Visual touring crew, led by crew chief/lead LED Robert “Bo” Crowell, includes Sean Harper/LED, Dustin King/LED and L. Sidney Ptah/LED/Utility.  The ongoing production also brings together Barry Claxton, senior project coordinator of the Chaos offices in the U.S., and Alex Leinster, general manager of Chaos’s U.K.-based office.

For the shows at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, the crew added on a custom HD camera and recording system, WinVision 8mm I-Mag Screens and a U.K. crew to help run the extra gear, led by Alex Leinster.

“It’s a real honor to have been slated to put this together with JC, Joe, and Dan,” said John Wiseman, Chaos Visual Productions CEO. “It’s another out-of-the-box killer show that sets new standards for the Foo Fighters, as well as other touring artists.  These guys really care about the show and the product they deliver to the audience.  We’re so blessed to have a client who, from the very top down, is first-rate.”

The Foo Fighters tour will travel to Australia and the U.S. later this summer.
