LOS ANGELES and NASHVILLE – Video projection company DWP Live added d3 media servers to its video production rental offerings recently.
More details from d3 (www.d3technologies.com):
DWP Live have focused on projection mapping as a company since 2008, and are now taking the next step by investing in d3 media servers by d3 Technologies. Having worked on large-scale events such as the Superbowl Halftime Show, Cinemacon, performances by Beyoncé and Amway China events, DWP Live have kept a focus on meticulous quality in a fast growing business.
Danny Whetstone, Founder and President of DWP Live, says of this development: “It is a natural step for us to stay on top of new innovations and new technologies that are available to broaden our horizons and better serve our customers. d3 certainly fits into this next step for us.”
Having closely watched the evolution of d3, DWP Live were particularly taken by d3 Technologies’ flagship server, the d3 4x4pro. Says Whetstone: “d3 Technologies have created a great workflow that simplifies the show process from start to finish, encompassing everything from design and content delivery to execution. We believe it will simplify solutions for large-scale events and be an advantage for all parties involved: at this time, there are no other products that allow for team members and companies to work collaboratively on the same project like d3 does.”
Having successfully completed their training sessions, DWP Live’s next step will be to host an Open House in their Nashville office, where they will showcase their new d3 4x4pros to the industry alongside the launch of their new equipment rental venture, DWP Rents. The Open House event will take place Thursday, Feb. 5 from 4-9 p.m.
