COLOGNE, Germany – An international group of AV industry professionals attended coolux’s first Expert Warping Training Nov. 21-24 at the coolux GmbH headquarters in Cologne, Germany.? ?In general terms, Warping describes the process of mapping and ultimately projecting media content in a way that does not distort the image seen, a key ability when it comes to realizing architectural projections and brand presentations that could involve, for example, projections onto fully sized cars.?
Due to the growing popularity of commercial warping applications, coolux decided to expand their training portfolio to include classes dedicated exclusively to advanced warping skills.? ?During the four intensive training days, participants were able to broaden their theoretical knowledge and gain valuable hands-on experience.
Some of the topics covered included projector choice; the importance of shadow control; a GMAX introduction and working with the new coolux Pandoras Box Version 5 camera and output controls. ? ?All participants were awarded with an official coolux certificate of completion.
