Chaos Visual In Justin Bieber’s “World”

BURBANK, CA – Chaos Visual Productions is the video contractor for Justin Bieber's 2010 North American My World Tour, which is in support of his recent album release earlier this year, My World 2.0. Show designer Tom Marzullo produced a design of an upstage, center rear projection screen with staggered, framed soft LED panels above and on either side of the screen.

To achieve this, Chaos provided four Barco FLMR 20k projectors, four Barco FLMR 12k projectors, 13 8-foot-by-33-foot Mainlight Soft LED curtains, a Sony SDI Camera package and a Catalyst media server. All this was pulled together with content by LD John LaBriola.

"It was like old times when we got together with Tom Marzullo to work up a show for Justin's current tour," noted Nick Jackson, COO of Chaos Visual Productions. "Tom is very creative, and with a direct line to the talent, it was very much as we had done with Prince together in the 1980s and 1990s. Having an artist who is so clear on what he wants and empowering the team around him was a refreshing blast to the past for us all."

Touring on behalf of Chaos is director/EIC Michael Tinsley, projectionist Jason Lowe, Soft LED technician L. Sydney Ptah and Catalyst operators James DeStefano and Brandon Oosterhoff.

After the first leg of the tour proved a sellout, a second leg was added, which extends the tour through December of this year.
