BURBANK, CA – Chaos Visual Productions provides video to Maroon 5 as they launch the spring leg of their 2013 Overexposed North American tour. The production first debuted Feb. 13 in Columbus, OH, and is slated to run until April 6, with stops across the country. The tour is in support of Maroon 5’s most recent album, Overexposed, which was released last summer.

The Overexposed tour is anticipated to be the band’s biggest production to date. The show is conceived, created and designed by Demfis Fyssicopulos, the tour’s production designer and artistic director, along with Maroon 5.  Infect Productions’ Roger Staub provided the video content with the video programming done by Kevin Cauley.

The show is brought to life with one Kayak 1.5 ME video switcher, four Sony HD Camera HXC 100 HD PPUs, four Hippo HD media servers, 10x 20K Barco R22k projectors, and eight Folsom Image Pros. The images are displayed on stage with two 15-ft wide by 29-ft high LED walls comprised of WinVision 9mm tiles, one 47-ft wide by 29-ft high LED wall made of WinVision 12mm tiles, and custom Galaxia LED that surround the stage.

Fred Kharrazi, tour manager, and Alan Hornall, production manager, head the Maroon 5 production. The Overexposed tour is supported by Chaos Visual Productions’ video crew: video director John Hayes, video crew chief Rusty Wingfield, engineer Jon Schulman, lead projectionist/camera Steven Burkholder, lead LED Jeff Gainer,  lead camera operator Chris Campbell, Hippo/LED tech Randall Garriott and projectionist/camera Nicholas Strand.
