CHARLOTTE, NC — For the sixth year, Barbizon Lighting Company’s Charlotte location participated in 24 Hours of Booty – an all-abilities, 24-hour bicycle fundraiser for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and local cancer organizations.

This year, 24 Hours of Booty raised a total of more than $1.15 million. The Charlotte fundraiser took place on “Booty Loop,” a 2.97-mile circuit in Myers Park. The loop encircled “Bootyville,” hosted by Queens University at Charlotte, where riders could recharge with food, drink, naps and encouragement from family and friends before saddling up for more mileage.

This year’s Barbizon team (pictured, L-R) included Paul Strom, John Hartness, Esthere Strom, Jeff Montgomerie, Andrew Fisher, Lisa Magee. Barbizon expressed its thanks to companies that supported the team: Electronic Theatre Controls, Apollo Design Technology, City Theatrical, Rosco Laboratories, TMB Associates, and W.H. Onley Company.
