COLOGNE, Germany -The second coolux connect conference, held Jan. 8-9 at the KOMED in Cologne’s MediaPark, was attended by almost 220 AV professionals from more than 20 countries.
Designers, programmers, content creators and rental specialists spent two full days in Cologne, immersing themselves in the world of coolux Pandoras Box products and related projects.
Speakers included broadcast specialists, live production veterans and senior coolux technical staff.
Visitors were treated to a variety of product showcases and more technologically oriented presentations.
coolux’s Marketing and Communications Director Hans Stucken said, “On the one hand, this is a wonderful opportunity for us at coolux to update everyone to the latest product and feature developments, but the networking is just as important. With so many specialists from so many diverse markets being present, this is really the best place to explore new project ideas and to let yourself be inspired. The overall enthusiasm for our products is deeply satisfying and judging by the feedback we received so far it seems that a most wonderful time was had by all.”
Company support also came from Cast Software, Christie, eyevis, Gerriets, sonic emotion, PhotonX, VER, Outstanding Solutions and Elation. One of the highlights of the conference was coolux CEO Jan Huewel’s presentation, which included a sneak peek at future developments in the world of coolux Pandoras Box.
“It is important to us that the people present at our connect conference know that they will be the first to be shown our latest developments. Leading up to the conference we only released a very limited amount of information about the actual content of the presentations, which is why I feel very honored that so many highly successful people decided to attend our second connect conference simply because we told them it would be interesting for them. We talk to so many brilliant people throughout the year that it is a great pleasure to see them here in Cologne, talking to one another. This setting is a win-win situation for all involved.”
The coolux connect conference is held every two years, with the next one set for 2015.
