More details from XLNT (www.xlnt-at.com):
Frankfurt, Germany – Entertainment motion control systems expert XLNT Advanced Technologies enjoyed a busy and successful ProLight+Sound show in Frankfurt with the launch of CyberHoist II, the 2nd generation of the world’s first intelligent, variable speed chain hoist.
The system has been designed for heavy-duty, worldwide touring and large-scale events. Already proven to be an instant hit with safety conscious professionals across the world, it went out on several productions immediately after initial customers took delivery. Amongst those was the Linkin Park tour, where it delivered fast and precise automation of the arena show’s moving elements.
“We were delighted to have Ingo Koenzen, show operator for the recent Linkin Park tour, on stand with us at ProLight,” says XLNT’s Director of Sales and Marketing Marc van der Wel. “He, along with Sebastian Habrechtsmeier, CyberHoist operator for German hip hop group Die Fantastischen Vier, helped us demo the system to booth visitors.”
CyberHoist II embraces SIL 3 (Safety Integrity Level 3) compliant technology, controlled by CyberMotion’s MotionCue3D™ Performance Console. It is compliant with applicable international safety standards and codes of practice (EN61508 – Sil3, DIN56950, BS, FEM). It includes all top-notch options, such as dual channel load cell and bi-channel high-speed communication including actual load and status information from hoists and programmed objects to the operator.
“ProLight+Sound had a very positive feel and we saw a good mix of operational and creative professionals, rental companies and venues drop by to see the demo,” continues van der Wel. “Many had specific projects that required an automation solution. This has led to some excellent leads, which we are busy following up and we look forward to reporting on progress very soon.
“Following our success in Frankfurt we will continue to exhibit our CyberHoist II system to creative and technical people in various territories over the next months, as a live demo is the best way to really show off its fantastic functionality.”
