The new WORK LightMouse 5 (LM 5) allows end users and installers to design their own lighting console based on their own needs for any specific application thanks to OSC open protocol (Open Sound Control, www.opensoundcontrol.org). This feature makes it compatible with third party lightmouse apps such TouchOSC and Lemur (available on APP store and Android Market) which allows the user to personalize the control interface and to create a lighting console adapted to the user’s needs.
It will make possible to configure different console designs suitable for each application, where, for example, an RGB application would need three faders (R, G, B) , a master, a blackout and probably an amber or a white; while another application for an smaller club (with some moving heads, LEDs, etc.) would need a totally different console design. Both of them would can be designed and customized, adapting the control software interface to the different specifications required for either case.
With a memory capable of storage up to 100 scenes and 24 shows, its most innovative feature is it can be programmed and executed using OSC applications for smartphone or tablet.
LM-5 can also be used to control audio devices too, and at the same time as lighting.
The customizable layout possibility makes it easy to adapt a custom design for any custom installation.
LM-5 is targeted for clubs, pubs, bars, small events, etc. It has a built-in memory for saving and editing scenes and shows; it’s compatible with remote control applications for tablets and smartphones; and compatible with self personalized control software interface.
