Vaddio, the manufacturer who brought you the world’s first professional quality HD, USB PTZ camera and EasyUSB peripherals, is now shipping the RoboSHOT 12 USB camera – the world’s first enterprise-class, HD conferencing camera with simultaneous USB 3.0 and HD IP (H.264) streaming, complete with an HDMI video output.

More details from Vaddio (www.vaddio.com):

Suited for small-to medium-sized training rooms, conference rooms or classrooms, the RoboSHOT 12 USB can be powered and controlled through its built-in web-server. Fully equipped with USB 3.0, the RoboSHOT 12 USB video stream is uncompressed, which provides for pristine, high resolution and high frame rate video, up to 1080p, without loss of signal integrity found in most USB web cams.

A major innovation to the RoboSHOT 12 USB is its focus on IT management across the Enterprise. The RoboSHOT 12 USB accomplishes this through its embedded web server, IP Streaming capabilities and GB Ethernet PoE+ port built directly into the camera. Simply enter the cameras streaming URL into a standards based (H.264, RTSP format) media player to watch the IP stream and control the RoboSHOT 12 USB simultaneously. This is ideal for remote management and IT control.

“Vaddio’s innovative USB suite of products offer the right features, flexibility and value most sought after by integrators and IT professionals in the Pro AV and Unified Communication space,” explained Ed Ellett, President and CEO of Vaddio. “The RoboSHOT 12 USB is our newest, and we believe best, addition yet to the line. By combining simultaneous USB 3.0, IP streaming and network management functions we believe this camera is a huge improvement over any other conferencing camera across the Enterprise.”

Vaddio’s RoboSHOT 12 USB camera features a 12x optical zoom with a 73-degree wide horizontal field-of-view and is fully equipped with Vaddio’s Tri-Synchronous Motion technology, a silent, direct drive motor system that allows all three axes of the camera (pan, tilt and zoom) to move simultaneously for ultra smooth, natural camera motion.
