Total Structures introduced the Pointman “S” Model 1/4 Ton (250 Kg) capacity electric chain hoist at this year’s InfoComm exhibition.

This latest addition to the Pointman Lifting Products line of equipment offers an industry standard 16 feet per minute lifting speed and is the only hoist of its size offering internal geared limit switches and an optional second brake, all of which can be contained within its regular sized housing.
Unlike its competition, the industry standard speed and true 250 Kg working load capacity are maintained in both three phase (180V to 500V) and single phase units (110V or 220V). Due to a new and unique profile load chain a 1/4T unit, fitted with 60ft height of lift and fitted with limit switches, weighs less than 35 Lbs complete, which is 25% less than some competitors similar capacity products.
