The Stagemaker SM2 hoist from R&M Materials Handling is a ¼-ton electric chain hoist designed for touring events and small venues such as concert halls, theatres, clubs, churches, ballrooms, exhibition halls and trade shows.
It is constructed of pressure-cast aluminum and it can fit inside of a 12-inch box truss. Features include: gearing for low operating noise; a chain guide for smooth release of the chain from the hoist; a single chain system to help prevent jamming; a combination brake torque limiter for external overload adjustment and a DC disk brake to override the clutch in the event of slippage.
