Prism Projection extends its RevEAL CW fixture line with the RevEAL Color Wash CW TrueSource (RevEAL CW-TS), with optical and color LED features managed through an LCD display and pushbutton controls. The displays provide exact CIE coordinates of the color being displayed in real time, including the CCT values of white light, and the fixtures can be controlled locally or remotely via DMX.
As with the original RevEAL (Revolutionary Entertainment & Architectural Lighting) fixtures, RevEAL CW-TS fixtures combine multiple LED colors in a single source beam for uniformity and beam quality. The five-color mixing process – red, green, blue, cyan and amber – allows for an extended color gamut, and optical algorithms produce consistent colors, including white light with a CRI above 95 and a CCT range from 1,800K to 8,000K.
In addition, the products feature real-time tri-stimulus optical feedback sensors to help ensure accurate color. The RevEAL CW-TS has no fragile glass components, offers 50,000 hours of performance and produces 46 lumens, on average, per watt.
The product contains no hazardous materials such as lead or mercury, doesn't generate waste from discarded gels and lamps, and has no UV emissions. The LED source reduces CO2 footprint by more than 60 percent.
In its Eco mode, the RevEAL CW-TS reduces power consumption by an additional 67 percent while maintaining 50 percent of luminous output, increasing the overall efficiency by more than 50 percent. In Eco mode, the RevEAL CW-TS also operates in total silence.
The RevEAL CW-TS is shipping now and is distributed worldwide.
