Philips Vari-Lite is now shipping the Vari-Lite® VLX™ Wash automated luminaire. It features seven proprietary 120-watt RGBW LED chipsets, a patent-pending internal beam homogenization system that eliminates multi-color shadowing effects, CRI adjustment and adjustable color temperature between 3000K and 9000K. A patented lens array offers a remote zoom range of 23 to 60 degrees. The zoom system can be removed for a fixed field angle of 22 degrees. VLX produces 12,000 lumens with the zoom array attached and 13,500 lumens with the zoom array removed. Accessory mounting points are also included allowing the attachment of additional aftermarket accessories.
