Pandoras Box Version 4.5 from coolux Media Systems includes more than 50 new features, including an improved interface, Multi-Server Preview, Bezier Curve Editing and other tools designed to make the faster, more powerful and easier to use. The upgrade includes a redesigned user interface to meet both dark and bright work environments, an updated Rendering Engine with the new multi-server 3D preview, Virtual Sites to help the user maintain a fast workflow with any amount of playout systems or third party devices.
Other new features include:
Clip-based editing: the timeline editor now has the ability to program animation keys both in tracking or clip based mode; Curve Editor, which lets users edit the motion interpolation in a separate editor, enabling them to fine-tune motion paths while having an overview of the composition in the trackbased timeline editor.
In addition, there is a built-in batch encoder, which features auto-encoding and custom encoding presets on a per-project basis (with enhanced Quicktime support is built-in as well), plus CITP Thumbnail Exchange, with support for the common exchange format for media preview with lighting consoles (currently supported by Chamsys consoles).
The update also includes support for MA Net, a benefit for all grandMA users, with an integrated MA DMX Sniffer Protocol. That lets Pandoras Box be easily integrated into any existing MA Network setup.
The software also offers Midi Show Control, with Midi Note for preset or sequence control as well as sequence control via MSC commands.
An enlarged SDK also allows access to almost all parameter and sequence control features. Remote Text Asset as well as content management can now be controlled from any third party application.
