Panasonic Connect Expands AV Solutions at InfoComm 2024

Panasonic Connect’s ET-FMP50 Series Media Processor can be used for immersive installations

Panasonic Connect North America announced additions to its AV solution suite to power innovative and engaging visual experiences across industries. The dynamic visuals of immersive exhibitions are no longer reserved just for entertainment venues: they are key to engaging audiences from classrooms to corporate meeting rooms to houses of worship. Panasonic Connect will highlight its full AV ecosystem of both new and existing solutions at InfoComm 2024. The booth (#W1500) will feature its array of solutions that power dynamic entertainment experiences, foster better collaboration, and simplify workflows.

Take Entertainment Experiences to the Next Level
Visitors will explore solutions that support everything from immersive entertainment to dynamic worship services and engaging corporate events. Highlighting the power of captivating digital art exhibits t bring communities together, the booth will feature replicas of the Los Angeles City Hall and a historic building from downtown Binghamton, NY. These replicas will showcase example projection mapping works from A3 Visual and the LUMA Projection Arts Festival, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this September. The booth will also feature Full Swing’s golf simulation experience powered by Panasonic’s projection technology.

Additionally, Panasonic Connect will showcase its comprehensive offerings that support dynamic worship services and corporate events with the combined power of its KAIROS live video production platform and PT-RQ50KU projectors.

The PT-REQ15/REZ15 Series 1-Chip DLPTM 4K Projector from Panasonic Connect

This zone will also highlight several new solutions, including:

  • The PT-REQ15/REZ15 Series 1-Chip DLPTM 4K Projectors produce smooth, deep 4K images[1] in any environment. Its optical engine and laser light source module even comply with the IP5X Dust Protected standard, while the backup input and multi-laser drive engine allow it to operate reliably in harsh conditions. The PT-REQ15/REZ15 Series projectors are TAA Compliant and are currently available.
  • Currently available, Panasonic’s Silky Fine Mist powers magnificent artistic spaces both indoors and outdoors. It uses pressurized water and compressed air to create a small particle mist that readily floats in the air and projects beams of light to create a hologram-like, 3D-effect.

Drive More Engaging Collaboration
The Panasonic Connect booth will present an innovative approach to engaging on-site collaboration for corporate and education spaces. Visitors will have the opportunity to visualize concepts and ideas in a shared immersive environment utilizing Panasonic’s new PT-RQ7 Series 1-Chip DLP™ 4K Projectors to wrap an entire space, from floor to ceiling, in dynamic visuals. With innovative technology from IGLOO, teams can share any type of digital content, including immersive virtual reality or 360° content. This helps increase efficiency and gives students and employees a dynamic and immersive learning and working experience.

This zone of the booth will also feature Panasonic’s ecosystem of professional displays, PTZ cameras, and ceiling microphone technology designed to automate hybrid classroom workflows for engaging remote and in-person experiences.

New solutions on display include:

  • The PT-RQ7 Series 1-Chip DLP™ 4K Projectors power deep, vivid content to wrap an entire space, from floor to ceiling, in dynamic visuals. In addition to supporting collaboration spaces, its “Digital Art Mode” achieves a sense of color and contrast ideal for projection environments in museum settings as well. The PT-RQ7 Series is expected to be available in the second half of 2024.
  • Media Production Suite centralizes camera management for small team operations, streamlining camera setup and providing a wide range of features to support high quality video production. Media Production Suite brings production value to our PTZ camera portfolio by adding (soon to-be-released) new paid plug-in features such as AI Keying and auto-tracking. The ET-FMP50 Series Media Processor from Panasonic Connect

Simplify Content Workflow
Panasonic Connect will showcase its new ET-FMP50 Series Media Processor. Designed to streamline workflows while supporting enhanced performance, the ET-FMP50 Series Media Processor features camera-based warping, blending adjustment, and 4K media playback capability. It eases the burden of installing and adjusting multi-projection attractions, making operations more efficient and simplified. The ET-FMP50 Series is expected to be available in the second half of 2024.

Additionally, Panasonic Connect will highlight solutions that offer built-in flexibility and scalability for streamlined workflows, including its expanded lineup of Intel® SDM specification slot-compatible products. As industry standards evolve, the Intel® SDM specification-compatible boards allow customers to choose an AVoIP standard that best meets their use case.
