Morpheus Lights' PacificFader is a dichroic CYM color mixing, optical dimming and color correction accessory that "slots in" to the optical system of the modular Selecon Pacific luminaire to deliver a wide variety of colors – deep saturates as well as a range of pastels. The PacificFader3 provides CYM color mixing for use with tungsten sources. The PacificFader4 provides CYM plus a smooth optical dimmer for use with CDM, CST or MSR arc sources. The PacificFader5 provides CYM plus optical dimmer plus Morpheus' variable 2x CTO for color correction of daylight arcs.
The company said PacificFader is especially suited to venues that mount a variety of shorter term productions. For those venues, it can provide flexibility and substantial cost savings in operations.
