Users can use the fixture as a single-lens wash or employ a separate set of individually controllable multicolor LEDs for a variety of eye-candy looks. This gives users the ability to mix, match, and create new effects that take the unnatural LED look out of LED lighting. The Aura also offers a built-in FX engine.
In addition, the MAC Aura has an 11 to 58 degree zoom for defined beam effects. The zoom is capable of angling wide or tight, with a uniform field of light throughout the zoom range.
The MAC Aura delivers almost 4000 lumens of output in a compact 5.6 kg (12.3 lb) package, and the Aura is designed to move with high speed and precision.
As a washlight, the MAC Aura offers color mixing with a broad range of shades from two independent color systems. Color shades mix uniformly from saturated colors to pastels and to warm and cool shades of white.
A new cooling system is also designed to help the fixture run quietly for noise-sensitive environments like TV and theatre.
Low power consumption (1 amp) lets multiple fixtures be daisy-chained on the same power line.
