The MAC 350 Entour from Martin Professional is an LED-based profile moving head fixture that delivers 8,000 lumens of output from 50W white LEDs, touted for its combination of output and efficiency. The fixure was developed with support from a technology grant for the development of new LED technologies. The MAC 350 Entour also houses eight interchangeable dichroic colors with split color effects and continuous rotation. It houses six rotating and indexable gobos. Beam angle is 25 degrees and the optical system and variable focus are capable of producing crisp images.
The 350 Entour also produces an enhanced color spectrum, and color rendering of the fixture's LED source is said to exceed that of any HID fixture.
The LED light sources in the MAC 350 Entour exceed 25,000 hours of operational life, and the fixture is also touted for eliminating any significant color shifts over time, resulting in a more consistent look across fixtures.
Other benefits of LED technology include greater reliability, less maintenance and low energy consumption for a lower cost of ownership including lower fixture service costs with such features as a fan designed to cool the unit without drawing dirt or dust into the optics.
The MAC 350 Entour is designed to dim electronically with a uniform fade and no color shifts. Instant LED response allows for crisp shutter and fast strobe effects.
The MAC 350 Entour is extremely compact and lightweight with fast pan and tilt movement. The beam can be quickly and accurately resized via a motorized iris for use in a wider range of applications.
The fixture operates at a very high LED refresh rate, making it flicker free for on-camera productions, and if full light intensity is not required, the fixture can run in a virtually silent mode.
Well suited for touring and event applications, the MAC 350 Entour is also designed for permanent installation in a wide variety of venues.
