Preeminent dry hire rental partner, Main Light, LLC, has recently added TetraX™ luminaires from Robe lighting s. r. o. to their extensive rental offerings. These sure to be in-demand new units are already in stock at all three Main Light locations—Main Light, East in Wilmington, DE, Main Light, South in Nashville, TN, and Main Light, West in Las Vegas, NV. Main Light created a video demonstration of the Robe TetraX fixtures:
“We have taken delivery of a significant inventory of Robe’s TetraX lights across all three of our locations,” says Main Light CEO Randy Mullican. “This inventory expansion is all part of Main Light’s commitment to being aware of, and responsive to, the needs of the wider industry we support as a dry hire company.”
Based upon Robe’s Tetra1™, the TetraX adds dynamic pan movement with extremely high speed, continuous rotation, dramatically increasing the sweeping effect possibilities of the fixture. Generating an ultra-tight 4° beam from each of the nine evenly spaced pixels, they combine to produce a bright, defined “sheet” of light. The homogenized beams and smooth 11:1 motorized zoom provide ultra-smooth washes out to 45°.
The TetraX sets itself apart by including three exclusive eye-catching Robe patented MCFE™ – Multi-Colored Flower Effect–emitting sharp, multi-colored spikes of light, with variable speed and rotation direction control, to further increase the projection of in-air animations. All-inclusive color and dimming control are available via RGBW and CMY color mixing modes; variable CCT of 2,700K – 8,000K; tungsten emulation simulating the red shift and thermal delay of tungsten lamps for whites from 2,700K – 4,200K; DataSwatch™ 237 pre-programmed color library; L3™ Low Light Linearity dimming software for imperceptible fades to black. An Epass™ Ethernet switch ensures sustained network connectivity. The TetraX supports a wide range of protocols (sACN, Art-Net, or KlingNet) allowing control from media servers, DMX, or the internal effects engine.
“Always listening to our clients—rental and production houses—we feel confident that the Robe TetraX addition to our inventory will be well-received,” says Rick McKinney, Main Light Industries’ National Rental Manager. “These units are another lighting tool that our customers can now offer to their clients who are looking for something a bit different from a reputable and reliable manufacturer.”
