LSC Lighting Systems' Redback Wallmount range, which previewed at trade shows last fall, is now available. Features include optional relay channels, RDM, various output connector configurations, external wallplate control and a slim profile. Redback Wallmounts can serve as a combination of dimmers and relay channels to power LEDs and moving lighting fixtures. A 24 channel "combo" unit, for example, provides 18 channels of dimming and six channels of relay in the same chassis.
In addition, the relay modules can be configured to be switched on or off using DMX512, auto-powered, or controlled via a number of other methods.
The relay outputs provide direct power by using physical relays, eliminating the risk of interference with connected loads.
The Redbacks are available in a variety of models, all well-suited to where slim-line wall mounts are required, such as walkways or catwalks.
A number of different output socket combinations are available, along with a hard-wired version. A new patch version using GST18 connectors is also available, which allows for double output sockets and a hot-power connection. The company said its Redback Patch system will also be released soon.
