Australia-based LSC Lighting Systems has extended the recent release of MDR Splitters with MDR DMX512 splitters that have RJ45 connectors. Available in a 10-way 19-inch rack-mount 1RU high chassis, the MDRJ uses Neutrik EtherCon connectors allowing the use of Cat5 cable. The MDRJ can also take advantage of the optional RDM module permitting the latest industry data transmission protocol to travel through the splitter. The MDR family’s ability to be upgraded with RDM capability at a later allows an upgrade path for the future.
