Dallas-based Kangaroo Cases has designed cases to house Vari-Lite VL2500s and VL3500s. The "Convertible" cases hold two fixtures as normally delivered and with the addition of one lid the cases can be split to ship two fixtures separately. Also offered are taller lids to accommodate clamps and rigging to ride in the cases. The fixtures ride in the case in such a way to reduce the road stress between yolk and the base. Other features include recessed padded handles, recessed latches, heavy-duty ball corners, tongue and groove aluminum corner extrusions and self-backing rivets. The cases are ATA approved for shipping.
