Goddard Design Co. announced the limited return of the μDMX test tool. The μDMX is a hand held, battery powered multiplexed dimmer protocol generator. Primarily it supports DMX512 and it also supports the Colortran “CMX” and AVAB “Light Transmission Protocol.” The main use of the device is to bring a DMX device to any level. It is meant for one-handed operation and it will bring up any slot, or combination of slots, to the same level, or bump levels to off, 50 percent and full. It can also auto-increment slot numbers. The retail price is $195.
