The Futurelight DMH-100 from Steinigke Showtechnic GmbH is a moving head that makes use of a 100W quad-color LED with a color effect prism, like the company’s smaller DMH-32 unit. The fixture lets users work with the focus and gobos layered on top of each other to create unique color effects.
More details from Steinigke Showtechnic GmbH (www.steinigke.de):
Even the structured glass gobos and the iris can be played to the gallery not only with one color, but also with color combinations. The colors involved are determined by the color mixture. Whether used for projection or as haze effect, totally new images unfold.
The RGBW color mixture makes stepless color mixing possible. The colors appear deeper and more powerful than they do with comparable devices using colored glass. The normal image is absolutely sharp and even. When it comes to brightness, the DMH-100 is comparable to devices with a 400W discharge lamp. Moreover, two gobo wheels provide a wide range of images.
One more plus is the workmanship. Neutrik connectors for power and DMX signal, a rugged housing and high quality components make the DMH-100 a more than interesting device for permanent installations as well as on tour.
