The Futurelight DMB-160 from Steinigke Showtechnic uses a 150 W COB LED to give show designers the moving beam looks that have grown popular in recent years.
More details from Steinigke Showtechnic (www.steinigke.com):
Thanks to a high quality glass optic, the image is extremely good and even beats some discharge lamps by far. The beam angle of the DMB-160 is 3°. That’s narrow, yet not too narrow – so the device is perfectly suited for use on short to middle distances.
Extensive equipment
Speaking of equipment, besides numerous gobos and a wide range of colors, the prism wheel has to be mentioned. Besides the rotating 8-fold prism, projecting the images in a circle, there’s a special 6-fold prism, which shows the images arranged in a line. A frost filter is an additional feature.
High quality components
Regarding quality, Futurelight doesn’t compromise. PowerCon In- and outputs as well as XLR sockets from Neutrik, high quality mechanisms and motors, an elaborate fan, good optics, a high quality LED and a stable construction make up a totally harmonious product, which absolutely fulfills professional demands.
