At the NAMM music and entertainment technology trade show taking place in Anaheim, CA at the end of January, Eliminator Lighting will debut a variety of exciting new additions to its product range. These will include static wash fixtures, moving head wash and spot luminaires, a power switching controller, and a new size of mirror ball along with a heavy-duty rotator. The sister brand of world-renowned lighting brand ADJ, Eliminator products are designed to deliver excellent value and versatility to mobile entertainers and event producers as well as installers working on bars, fun centers and small nightclubs.
Eliminator’s Stryker Series of powerful, feature-packed, and affordable moving head fixtures is expanding with the addition of the Stryker Spot. Compact, lightweight, and easily portable, this versatile spot luminaire offers quick movement, impressive output, and excellent versatility thanks to an extensive collection of beam-shaping tools. Powered by a potent 150-Watt cool white LED engine, it features 8 static and 6 rotating GOBOs, on independent wheels, alongside a separate 7-slot color wheel. There are also two rotating prisms (5-facet and 6-facet), while motorized zoom provides a variable beam angle of 9° – 14° and motorized focus allows sharp pattern projections over varying distances. Built-in programs and a Primary/Secondary mode allow an impressive lightshow to be created using multiple fixtures without an external controller, while full DMX control is also supported for integration into a larger lighting system.
Another new addition to the series debuting at NAMM 2024 is the Stryker Max. This powerful and versatile wash-zoom fixture is capable of generating a variety of stunning aerial effects. It features six high-output 40-Watt RGBW (red, green, blue, and white) color mixing LEDs attached to a motorized zoom mechanism and positioned behind a rotating lens assembly. This allows the fixture to output a narrow beam of 4°, a wide wash of 55°, and everything in between, as well as kaleidoscopic multi-beam effects. In addition, the head also features an outer ring of 60 x 5-Watt RGB LEDs which can be used to add mesmerizing ‘eye candy’ visual effects. Lightweight, compact, and versatile, the fixture offers a wide variety of internal programs for easy standalone, sound activated, or Primary/Secondary operation as well as comprehensive DMX control.
Offering phenomenal output and wide coverage, the Mega Wash 24 is a lighting powerhouse that will fill a club or event dancefloor with vibrant color. Powered by 24 x 10-Watt 6-in-1 hex color LEDs, arranged in six independently controllable clusters, the fixture can also be used to create eye-catching chases and intense strobe effects. The RGBWA+UV LEDs offer a vast color palette, while the inclusion of UV allows for the creation of a ‘black light’ effect which causes white and neon colored décor and clothing to glow. A lightweight and compact design, together with a variable angle hanging bracket, makes the fixture easy to integrate into any lighting setup for portable or permanent applications. It also offers a variety of operational modes – Auto, Sound Active, Primary/Secondary (for synchronized output across two or more units) and DMX controlled – and is supplied with a useful wireless IR remote for easy setup.
The 2024 NAMM show will also be an opportunity to see the recently released Mega Hex L Par in person. This versatile LED par fixture delivers lime-infused LED technology at a previously unheard-of price point. Powered by four extremely bright 20-Watt HEX (6-in-1) RGBLA+UV (red, green, blue, lime, amber + UV) color mixing LEDs, it can be used to generate a huge spectrum of output colors, including white light with a color temperature variable between 2300K and 9900K. The lime element allows for vivid shades of green as well as white light with a CRI of >90. This means that colors are rendered more accurately, which is particularly important to ensure natural skin tones and enhanced depth. The fixture offers a concise beam angle of 17° but is supplied with an optional 20° frost filter. Allowing for versatile deployment, it features a patented ‘sit-flat’ design for uplighting as well as a two-part scissor yoke that can be used either as a variable angle floor stand or hanging bracket.
Enhancing its existing range of mirror ball offerings, Eliminator is also introducing the new EM30. This large 30-inch (75.5cm) diameter multi-faceted reflective sphere features a central hanging point and separate safety cable attachment point. It can be used with any narrow beam luminaire to generate the timeless, room-filling effect of thousands of reflected pin-sharp beams. It fills the gap in the Eliminator range between the significantly smaller 20” EM20 and huge 40-inch EM40 models, providing an imposing mirror ball option that is also reasonably easy to transport.
Designed specifically for use with the EM30 as well as the larger EM40 model, the new HD-MB40 is a heavy-duty rotator with a weight capacity of up to 89lbs. (40kg). It rotates at a speed of between 1 and 1.5 rpm (depending on weight loading) and features a central eyelet, fitted with a carabiner, as well as an additional safety loop.
The Ikon Profile Plus is an upgraded GOBO Projector powered by a 40-Watt (9500K) LED source. This projector boasts manually adjustable beam angles (15-40 degrees), interchangeable GOBOs, and framing shutters, making it a versatile spotlight for architectural, stage, or house of worship applications. Control options include a digital display menu with 2 DMX channels, RDM compliancy, dimming, and strobing. The fixture comes with a glass GOBO, metal gel frame, and the convenient UC IR wireless remote.
Finally, making its debut at NAMM 2024, the SC8 II Pad System is a new analogue control solution for switching non-DMX lighting fixtures and effects. It features an eight-output relay pack with a total capacity of 15 Amps, which connects via a standard 3-pin DMX cable to a separate control pad equipped with latching toggle switches, flash buttons, and indicator LEDs for each output. This allows the relay pack to be located close to lighting fixtures – for example on a truss or lighting stand – and the pad to be positioned at a convenient place for the operator. The relay pack is fitted with wall-mounting ears as well as an M10 screw thread for attaching a hanging clamp, while the pad unit is supplied with rubber feet for tabletop operation.
