Elation Professional’s new SixBar Series of versatile color-changing LED battens features a revolutionary 6-color LED multi-chip that provides a creative color boost to the lighting designer toolbox. Useful for production applications or installations as a wash light, uplight, wall/cyc wash, accent lighting, direct view pixel strip and more, the SixBar’s high-power single lens RGBWA+UV LEDs offer an expanded palette of colors, including stunning ambers, true whites and even an ultraviolet effect.

Available in two versions – the SixBar 500 with 6x 12W LEDs and the SixBar 1000 with 12x 12W LEDs – both luminaires spread light at 30° beam angles and feature individual LED control for greater design possibilities. Both the SixBar 500 and SixBar 1000 are capable of smooth dimming from 0-100% and include a selection of variable dimming curves for faster programming. A selection of built in color macros, color fades, strobe and chase effects adds to their versatility. Included with both units is a removable glare shield and diffusion filter ideal when using as a wall wash unit.
Wrapped in a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, the SixBar 500 is 17.7” (450mm) long and delivers a bright output of 6,500 LUX @ 3.3’ (1m) yet consumes only 93W of max power for a small footprint and lower cost of ownership. The SixBar 1000 measures 35.4” (900mm) in length and emits 8,500 LUX @ 3.3’ (1m) while consuming a low 145W of power.
Both fixtures operate flicker free for use in TV and other broadcast applications and an integrated dual rigging bracket allows them to be either rig mounted or stand on the floor. Easy to set up, multiple units can be easily linked together for quick, customizable setups and integrated magnetic ends ensure proper line up when putting together rows of units. With a long LED life rating of 100,000 hours, service intervals are few and far between.
The SixBar 500 and SixBar 1000 are ArtNet™, KlingNet™ and RDM (Remote Device Management) protocol capable and include standard features like 3 and 5-pin DMX, as well as powerCON and RJ45 In/Out connections. Both luminaires are controllable via 8 DMX modes (6 / 7 / 11 / 13 / 18 / 36 / 39 / 43 channels for the SixBar 500 and 6 / 7 / 11 / 13 / 36 / 72 / 75 / 79 channels for the SixBar 1000). A 4-button control panel with LCD menu display makes for easy navigation through DMX and manual settings and an auto-sensing power supply allows them to operate anywhere in the world.
