LOS ANGELES —Elation Professional’s Design 1400 Series DMX-512 moving heads, including the Design Wash 1400E and the Design Spot 1400E, are each equipped with a built-in wireless DMX receiver. The units can receive DMX signals wirelessly from up to 3,000 feet away, using either Elation’s EWDMXT wireless DMX transmitter (sold separately) or other wireless DMX transmitters made by Wireless Solution Sweden AB. The Design Wash 1400E is a color wash featuring CMY+C color mixing plus two color wheels, each featuring four dichroic filters plus open. It has 17 DMX channels and a flexible linear beam angle of 10°-40°. It measures 24.8”L x 21.1”W x 22.6”H and weighs 110 pounds. The MSRP is $11,499.95.
The Design Spot 1400E is a color and effects machine with CMY color mixing, variable CTO color correction, interchangeable color filters, six dichroic color filters, CTB + white and split colors and a continuous Color Scrolling rainbow effect. It also includes two rotating gobo wheels that can be used to create the Gobo Morphing overlay effect and multi-color dichroic gobos that can be overlaid with the color wheel to produce more colors. A rotating animation wheel and three rotating prisms (three-facet, five-facet and infinity-facet) allow users to create more effects and combos. It has 25 DMX channels and includes an iris with pulse effect, a 12°-32° linear zoom, a frost filter on the prism effect wheel, variable speed strobe effects and 0° to 100° dimming. It measures 19”L x 14”W x 29”H and weighs 114 pounds. The MSRP is $11,999.95.
