DMX Pen Live can record the DMX stream from a lighting console in real time and then play it back. It comes with a 1GB card, which is sufficient for several hours of data. The Rotary Switch allows for up to 24 separate shows to be recorded and played back. The product can be used for preprogrammed shows such as those used at an exhibition, to back up a light show or as an emergency replay unit if a lighting controller fails. It can also be used for test routines for DMX controlled fixtures, to store different fixtures on different cards and to help check for faulty fixtures on tour. It includes a MIDI mode an Ethernet interface which allows for ArtNet recording and playback.
