Da-Lite Screen Company says it has increased the gain on its 3D Virtual Grey projection screen by over 40 percent, for a gain of 1.85 vs. the previous 1.3 gain fabric. That means a dramatic improvement in the brightness of the projected image, while maintaining the 99 percent polar retention of the previous material. Since the introduction of Da-Lite’s 3D Virtual Grey front projection screen and its companion rear projection fabric, 3D Virtual Black, the market for 3D has grown rapidly, Da-Lite noted.
