Creative Technology (CT) is doubling its inventory of ultra lightweight GLUX Carbon 10 LED display. The new product will offer several performance improvements and will be fully protected for outdoor use with improved water ingress and ultra-violet protection. As part of the upgrade CT’s original stock of GLUX Carbon 10 will be replaced with the new product.
The GLUX Carbon 10 LED screen is the lightest and slimmest 10mm LED product on the rental market, offering high resolution images in an extremely lightweight and flexible package.
The screen frame is built from carbon fibre and the highly transparent mesh panel keeps weight to a minimum whilst maximising the creative potential of the product.
This ultra lightweight product allows large systems to installed in locations, which until now have been impossible or prohibitively expensive with alternative products. Whether flown in a studio/stage environment or suspended horizontally as an LED ceiling, the GLUX Carbon 10 features 1200hz refresh, fanless operation, a weight of only 11kg per m², provides exceptional image quality and opens a new world of installation possibilities.
Dave Crump CEO of CT commented “The GLUX 10 has always been an innovative product, however it is no secret that our original inventory suffered serious issues with water ingress and UV damage, rendering it unuseable outdoors. This deal allows us to replace our original inventory and double our working stock. A number of other European rental companies have also invested in compatible equipment meaning we can collectively offer up to 1,500m² of matching lightweight product.”
