Clay Paky’s Sharpy Wash starts with Philips’ MSD Platinum 16R 330W lamp as a light source and adds features including a CMY color system, color wheel, mechanical dimmer, rotating beam-shaper, motorized top-hat and 6.5°-48° zoom. It also offers two frost filter choices, a Fresnel lens and speed of movement comparable to the original Sharpy. The light source produces 16,000 lumens of output in the 8,000K color temperature range and the fixture operates at 550W as a whole.
