The Alpha Beam 300 from Clay Paky is a moving yoke luminaire that emulates the beam of an ACL by producing a near-parallel beam. It has a beam angle of 8° and it uses a 300-watt lamp. It has eight non-rotating gobos, linear frost, CMY color mixing, an eight-position plus open color wheel, dimmer on a dedicated channel and strobe. It is supplied with a flicker-free electronic ballast as standard and it weighs 42 pounds.
