American DJ’s new Theatrix Pro 48 LED is an RGB+W color mixing luminaire with 48 one-watt LEDs (12 each red, green, blue and white). It has seven modes of operation with DMX with 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 16 or 19 channels of control plus stand-alone with built-in color changing programs in automatic or sound activation mode. Multiple units can be linked together in master/slave mode via 3-pin XLR cable. Another control option is to use American DJ’s UC3 remote controller (sold separately), which gives users wireless command of the built-in programs, blackout and other basic functions.
