Visitors to ADJ Lighting’s booth at Prolight + Sound 2023 can expect to see first-hand the reliable and versatile ADJ products that have been lighting up festival stages, concerts, nightclubs, and theaters across Europe and around the world. Highlights will include the IP65-rated range of Hydro Series luminaires, the Encore Series of theatrical fixtures, the Vision Series of LED video panels, as well as brand new products that will make their official debut at the show. The exhibition will see the official launch of the Focus Spot 7Z LED-powered moving head spot luminaire as well as the Focus Flex L19 automated LED wash fixture.

The latest addition to ADJ’s popular Focus Series of LED-driven moving heads, the Focus Spot 7Z is a powerful and feature-packed luminaire that offers lighting designers huge creative potential. At the heart of the fixture is an efficient 420W white light LED engine, which offers a 20,000-hour average lifespan. Its light is focused through precision-engineered optics to generate a potent and even output of 20,000 Lumens. The fixture features a comprehensive suite of beam-shaping tools, which make it extremely versatile. These include motorized focus, iris and zoom (6° ~ 48°) as well as smooth electronic dimming and variable speed strobing (1-20Hz). CMY mixing allows selection of a vast gamut of colors, while a variable CTO flag offers white light output with color temperature variable between 2,700K and 8,000K. There is also a separate color wheel with 7 dichroic slots (including High CRI and CTB) alongside two independent wheels, each with 7 slots for interchangeable and indexed rotating GOBOs. The fixture also boasts an indexed rotating animation wheel, two rotating prisms (4-facet circular and 6-facet linear) and two frost filters (light and heavy).

A bigger sibling to ADJ’s popular Focus Flex L7, the new Focus Flex L19 is potent LED wash-zoom with an output of 7,814 Lumens that is capable of creating wash, beam and pixel effects. It offers fast pan, tilt and zoom movement (5° ~ 50°) and is powered by an array of nineteen potent 40-Watt 4-in-1 RGBL color mixing LEDs, each of which can be controlled independently. The inclusion of a lime chip, alongside the primary red, green, and blue colors, allows for an increased color pallete as well as a higher CRI, ensuring natural skin tones and enhanced depth when the fixture is used as a wash. Through mixing the intensity of the four LED colors, a huge gamut of output colors can be created to suit any mood or desired look. The fixture features a convenient Virtual CMY mode, which allows control alongside native CMY color mixing fixtures using hardware/software CMY color picker tools. It also offers Virtual Foreground and Background Color Wheel control as well as white light output with variable color temperature of between 2700K and 10,000K. This can be accessed either via linear control or a collection of 10 convenient presets. Meanwhile, through controlling the 19 LEDs independently, the fixture can be used to generate impressive pixel-mapped effects and features a selection of in-built pixel animations to facilitate quick and effective programming.

The show will see the official European launch of a new LED solution from ADJ, which delivers completely wireless and IP-rated uplighting at an impressive price point. Featuring four 20W 6-in-1 RGBAW+UV color mixing LEDs, an internal rechargeable battery, onboard wireless DMX and an IP54-rated ‘weatherproof’ outer casing with a sleek black finish, the Element H IP is a compact and versatile fixture. It is designed to allow uplighting of structures, foliage, or décor wherever it is required, indoors or outside in any weather conditions, and without the need to run power or control cables. The fixture is supplied as a set of six, in a durable flight case with on-board battery charging and a UC-IR wireless remote, as the Element H6 Pak. An alternative version, the Element H IP Chrome, featuring a striking polished chrome finish is also available, with six packs of this version available as the Element H6 Pak CHR.

ADJ’s Prolight + Sound 2023 booth will also showcase the new Encore Profile Mini WW and Encore Profile Mini COLOR, which were officially unveiled at LDI in Las Vegas late last year and will begin to ship in the next few months. These are extremely compact, yet surprisingly powerful, LED-driven ellipsoidal spotlight fixtures, which can be used with a choice of either a 15° – 30° or 25° – 50° manual zoom lens (sold separately). Both models are supplied with a size ‘E’ GOBO holder and offer smooth digital dimming as well as variable speed digital strobing. The WW version features a 40-watt LED source, which delivers an output of 900 Lumens with a color temperature of 3000K and an extremely high CRI of >98. Meanwhile, the COLOR version utilizes an LED engine comprised of 16 x 3.5W RGBWAL (red / green / blue / white / amber / lime) LEDs, which allows extremely versatile color mixing with a CRI of >86 and output of 300 Lumens.

“The entire ADJ team is looking forward to meeting with customers both old and new at this year’s Prolight + Sound, and introducing them to our new product releases,” comments ADJ’s European Sales Director, Sebastian Mobers. “After the disruption and uncertainties caused by the global pandemic, last year was a welcome return to normality for the event industry in Europe, and 2023 looks set to be even busier. The show in Frankfurt provides the perfect opportunity for companies to assess the market and make purchasing decisions for the year to come. Our team will be on hand at the ADJ booth to provide demonstrations of products from across our range, answer technical questions, and give advice on the best fixture options for each customer’s individual requirements.”

Prolight + Sound 2023 will take place at Messe Frankfurt, 25 thru 28 April. ADJ will be exhibiting from booth E57 in Hall 12.1, where the company’s experienced and multilingual team of sales and product specialists will be on hand to answer questions and provide one-on-one demos.
