More details from ADJ (www.adj.com): Intense, searchlight-like narrow-beam effects are the rage among lighting designers and entertainers today. Now, ADJ has taken the hard-edge beam trend to new levels of breathtaking excitement with the Inno Color Beam Quad7, a compact, high-output moving head that features Quad-Color RGBW LED Technology and the added thrill of Zonal Chase Effects.

Powered by 7 x high-quality 10-watt 4-in-1 (red, green, blue, white) CREE LEDs, the Inno Color Beam Quad7 mixes colors with unrivaled smoothness and precision, and also has the ability to go all white for a truly stunning effect. Whether in color or white, the Inno Color Beam Quad7’s spectacular beams will pop out like brilliant searchlights. Its razor-sharp 10° beam angle is intense enough to dominate everything in its vicinity and penetrate virtually any performance environment with dramatic, hard-edge swaths of light.

If that isn’t enough, the Inno Color Beam Quad7 also offers LED Zonal Chasing capabilities, allowing you to add extra bang to your lightshows. With its powerful intense beam, dazzling colors and mind-blowing chase effects, this professional-caliber fixture will appeal to virtually any lighting designer, nightspot and entertainer who wants to be on the cutting edge of the latest big lighting craze and take their visual presentation to the next level.

“The Inno Color Beam Quad7 is the latest addition to ADJ’s wildly successful Inno Series, which has brought intense high-impact beam effects — like those used by today’s top lighting designers and major productions — within reach of DJs, mobile entertainers and small clubs,” said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manager for ADJ. “Now, with the new Inno Color Beam Quad7, we’ve made these narrow, highly sought-after beams more colorful and more powerful than ever. Plus, we’ve put even more ‘edginess’ into hard-edge effects with the added feature of LED Zone Chasing, which produces some tasty eye-candy to top off your lightshow.”

Everything about this innovative new fixture has been designed to professional-quality standards to help designers and entertainers create an unforgettable lightshow. Along with its intense beams, the Inno Color Beam Quad7 offers a wide range of premium features, including a strobe/pulse effect, with random strobing from slow to fast; 540° pan and 200° ; 0–100 % dimming; stepper motors with micro-stepping; 3-pin XLR in/out; and an easy-to-navigate four-button DMX LED display located on the rear panel.

Loaded with exciting built-in programs, the easy-to-use Inno Color Beam Quad7 can be operated in three different modes: Sound-Active, Master-Slave, or DMX-512. When in Sound-Active or Master/Slave modes, it moves to its own internal programs to create instant lightshows. In addition to full DMX control (in a 1- or 13-channel configuration for versatile programming options), the unit is also compatible with ADJ’s optional UC3 controller (sold separately), which gives non-DMX users the ability to turn the unit on/off and navigate through the various settings and basic functions with fingertip control. Multiple Inno Color Beam Quad7s can be daisy-chained together via the unit’s IEC AC in/out connectors to cover larger venues (up to 3 units @ 120V, and 5 units @ 230V).

One aspect of the Inno Color Beam Quad7 that’s not very intense is its low energy consumption of just 130 watts. Maintenance costs will be kept to a minimum as well, since the unit’s 7 long-life 10-Watt CREE LEDs have a rating of 50,000 hours and virtually never need replacing. The Inno Color Beam Quad7 can run all night without duty cycles, thanks to its low-heat LEDs and built-in fan. The unit includes multi-voltage operation: AC 100–240V, 50/60Hz.

Compactly designed for easy portability, the lightweight Inno Color Beam Quad7 measures 10.25″L x 6.75″W x 12″H (260 x 168 x 304mm) and weighs only 14 lbs. (6kgs) — making it equally attractive for touring productions and permanent installations. Users can easily attach the provided Omega hanging clamp for worry-free mounting and optimum positioning.

The MSRP of the Inno Color Beam Quad7 is $1,259.95.
