A pair of 4s might not get you very far at the poker table, but there are two “4s” you can bet on to be big winners in Vegas this fall: CHAUVET Professional’s STRIKE 4 and Synapse 4, which will be showcased at LDI 2015, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center October 23-25.
Along with sharing in common the number 4 in their names, both products are outstanding examples of CHAUVET Professional’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to lighting professionals’ design and technical needs, and they will be on display at the company’s LDI Booth #539.
The STRIKE 4 is a powerful warm white LED blinder that boasts the ability to be used across many production genres, thanks to its incredible output (640 lux @ 5M) and unique feature set. The unit is equipped with four brilliant 100W COB (Chip On Board) LEDs, which are independently focusable to offer great coverage and flexibility. The STRIKE 4’s brightness and built-in automated pulse effects make it a stunning audience blinder, but it can do multi-duty as a wash or strobe as well. Smooth 16-bit dimming control allows it to achieve soft-as-silk incandescent-style fades. Individual pan control of each LED pod, along with adjustable PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to eliminate flickering, make the STRIKE 4 ideal for film and studio use, too. Basic and complex DMX control personalities give users great programming flexibility.
The Synapse 4 functions as an intelligent relay pack to offer an innovative solution to many of the most common hurdles involved in setting up and operating LED fixtures. Designed to control the power sent to individual lighting units, the Synapse 4 can take one powerCON input and branch it into four outputs, each of which can be powered on and off individually. By turning individual fixtures off when not needed, users can achieve significant energy savings in the operation of LED lights. Rack, truss or wall mountable, the Synapse 4 also offers flexibility as to how its four outputs can be controlled: 1) via DMX; 2) upon sensing the loss of the DMX signal; or 3) via an internal timer that can be used to specify that individual outputs be turned on/off automatically at certain times of day.
“At CHAUVET Professional, our approach to product development begins with listening to our customers’ needs and then creating products that offer real solutions – whether it’s a very powerful and versatile LED blinder, like the STRIKE 4, or a relay pack that can power LED units on and off individually, like the Synapse 4,” said Ford Sellers, Senior Product Manager for CHAUVET Professional. “We are very excited to display these innovative products at LDI and invite all attendees to stop by our booth to see them, along with some other amazing surprises that we will be unveiling.”
