PixelFLEX selected the new COO based on Rains’ longstanding professional history of achieving substantial sales growth across a wide variety of manufacturing and distribution markets.
“Wherever he has been, Monty has built a tremendous business model and developed an exceptional sales team to deliver remarkable results,” said Jeremy Byrd, PixelFLEX president. “With PixelFLEX gaining market share, now is the ideal time for someone with Monty’s track record to streamline and improve our business tools and services – from customer support to distribution channels – to further strengthen PixelFLEX from top to bottom.”
Rains most recently served as vice president of corporate development for a private equity-funded digital learning company based in Birmingham, AL. Over the past 30 years, he has held a variety of executive positions with leading companies from venture-funded start-ups to Fortune 30 companies. His positions scaling up companies in a variety of verticals will serve Rains well in his leadership capacity for PixelFLEX, said Byrd.
“I have worked extensively with clients in using technology to creatively solve problems,” Rains said. “As leading innovators of visual technology solutions for delivering awe-inspiring content, building engagement and driving results, PixelFLEX is uniquely poised for substantial growth in 2013 and beyond. Over the next several months, my efforts will be focused on building strategic business alliances, developing stronger worldwide distribution channels, opening new markets and implementing a strategic operating plan to ensure we delight our customers.”
